ABOUT

CAITLIN GEISSER is a proud graduate of Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio (BFA Musical Theatre) as well as the Southern New Jersey Academy of the Performing Arts. She currently resides in South Jersey where she is the founder and Artistic Director for Triple Threat Workshop, and has spent her entire life onstage, and the last nine directing and teaching.  Caitlin currently serves as a guest artist for the Drama Department at GCIT, and is the Theatre Director at Wildwood Catholic Academy (Grades 4-12), and is the newest member of the education staff at The Levoy Theatre.

 

Some of her favorite directorial projects include Almost, Maine (The Gabriel Project with Cumberland Players), The Drowsy Chaperone (The Jubilee Directing Lab), 13: A New Musical (TTW), Spring Awakening (TTW), Bright Star (TTW), and most recently Ragtime (TTW) and A Chorus Line (TTW). She has also directed The Spitfire Grill, and assistant directed Dogfight, Ragtime, Little Women and The Last 5 Years at the Eagle Theatre. Some of her favorite onstage credits include: Lucy (Bright Star), Ali (Mamma Mia), Logainne Schwartzy (Spelling Bee), Charity (Sweet Charity), and Kitty (The Drowsy Chaperone).She hopes to one day receive her MFA in Directing, and her Alexander Technique Certification!


Next up for Caitlin:  “The Great Gatsby” at GCIT, High School Musical: On Stage and The Little Mermaid Jr. at WCA, and co-directing Frozen Jr. with the incomprable Tyler Daddario at the Levoy Theatre!  She is also helping to launch the Education Series at The Levoy Theatre at their new Education Center, and is prepping for Triple Treat Workshop’s 10th Anniversary Summer Season!
